Volunteering Geelong (previously known as the Geelong Volunteer Resource Centre), is an independent not-for-profit organisation that is committed to enhancing the quality of life in the community, through the promotion and support of volunteering. Volunteering Geelong was established in 1998 through the identification, by a number of individuals and members of the Geelong Volunteer Network (GVN), of the need for a “one stop shop” for volunteer recruitment and support. |

Geelong Refugee Education Assistance Team - GREAT GREAT is a volunteer based homework support program aimed at assisting refugee school students with numeracy and literacy skill development. The volunteer program provides free homework and English language support to refugee children in the Geelong region. In addition, it works to enhance, promote and celebrate harmony, cultural diversity, peace and social justice in our community. |
